3. Accountability

Accountability measures the level to which the position is required to contribute to the functioning of the organisation. The contribution is assessed in three areas:

. accountability for the safety, security and productivity of the organisation's capital assets;
. accountability for the provision of service to the organisationís clients, and to other employees of the organisation;
. accountability for the impact the position is empowered to make on the organisation.
