The licence charge to access Jobscore depends on whether the licencee uses Jobscore for:

For internal use (refer A. Internal Use below), the licence charge depends on whether or not the licencee subscribes to and contributes data to a NRC job evaluated salary survey.

For Consultant use (refer B. Consultant Use below), the licence charge depends on the period for which the licence is required.

All prices stated are plus 10% GST if purchased from within Australia. Prices are in Australian dollars.

A. Internal Use.

(i) For internal users that subscribe to and contribute data to a NRC job evaluated salary survey, and for the period that the user continues as a data contributing subscriber, there is a reduced charge to the user for a Jobscore licence. The amount of the reduction is survey-dependent. Subscription rates relevant to each survey are posted in the Salary Surveys section of this site.

(ii) For non-survey subscribers the licence charge is $4,250 (excluding GST) for a twelve months period.

For both (i) and (ii), the licence provides during the period of its currency:

  • Password protected access to Jobscore via the internet and storage of your evaluations.
  • The provision of a user name and password.
  • Formulas relating Jobscore points to a market salary in terms of Base Salary, Total Remuneration, Total Remuneration Cost, and Fixed Annual Remuneration, each at the following positions in the market: tenth percentile, first quartile, median, third quartile and ninetieth percentile.
  • Reasonable telephone assistance in the application of Jobscore (more extensive assistance is charged).
  • Storage of job evaluations for twelve months after the expiry date of the Jobscore licence.

And, during the period of the licence:

  • For (i), survey participants, on-line access to each salary survey report relevant to the survey in which the user participates.

  • For (ii), non survey participants, on-line access to each NRC job evaluated salary survey Report on Salaries and Executive Remuneration (published in April and October each year).
Training in the use of Jobscore to a reasonable extent and that is provided by the NRC is included in the annual licence charge. A standard travel charge based on the location of the training assignment may apply. Training is provided at the licencee's premises and any number of licencee employees may attend training sessions.

Control of licences and passwords.

The issuing, removal and regeneration of licences, user names and passwords is managed centrally by the NRC.

Liability.

The Jobscore system is operated via the internet. NRC has no control over the internet. The licencee indemnifies the NRC from any liability arising from any internet related event or internet related service provider action that impacts negatively on the licencees use of Jobscore. In any event the maximum liability the NRC will bear in respect of a licencees use of Jobscore will be the amount of the most recent Jobscore licence charge paid to the NRC by the licencee. By taking up a Jobscore licence the licencee agrees to this condition.

Backups.

Should there be a failure in any part of the internet system or by a related service provider that causes the loss of Jobscore evaluations resident on the system then to the extent that NRC has maintained backups such lost evaluations may be restored. Nevertheless, it is recommended that users keep both an electronic copy of their evaluation screens and a printout of their evaluations as a further security measure. By taking up a Jobscore licence the licencee acknowledges and agrees this condition.
